The new class is coming along nicely!  Here they are doing wall clocks the other day. This little activity is part of our breathing practice.  New massage therapists learn some breathwork here at WSMT as part of their training.

Breathing?  You ask.  Someone has to learn to breathe?  Yes.  It's essential to our health and well-being and yet many people do not breathe well.  As a result they suffer from painful muscles which are overtaxed and a lack of vitality and zest for living.  A little breathwork can go a long way to restoring wellness.

New therapists learn about breathwork as a self-care practice as shown here.  Once they understand the power of good breathing in their own bodies they can begin to assess and help their clients' breathing as well.

I recommend Dr. Andrew Weil's CD, "Breathing, The Master Key to Self Healing" to everyone I work with because it is so excellent.  Check it out at http://www.amazon.com/Breathing-Master-Key-SelfHealing/dp/156455726X/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=
