Well, what a busy July we have had!  I apologize for no update the whole month.  Summer has a way of taking over your life.  Of course it's usually in a good way!  I keep telling the neighbors we have to soak up this weather.  At least we don't have to shovel it!

We enjoyed the rainbows of Colorado for a fast family reunion weekend (see photo.)  We had our week-long bicycle vacation, this year along beautiful Lake Superior.  The photo shows "decorate your helmet day."  Gardening has been fabulous, as you can see from the shamelessly fancy purple trumpet flower photo.  And the students worked hard at the Washington County Fair where they provided chair massage to the public and helped to promote the school.  They did a great job!

In addition to these fun things I have been busy preparing a Fascial Yielding for the Upper Body continuing education class for massage therapists.  This class is planned to be offered in October for M.T.s in North Dakota and for Wisconsin M.T.s soon.  In addition, I have been planning another continuing education class called, "Refer Out with Confidence" an 8-session guest speaker class where participants learn about other professionals whom they can send their clients to for further help.

Now, to round out this edition, I must say, "Get yourself to the farmer's markets!!"  You cannot find a better time to enjoy the luscious local produce that our fellow small Wisconsinite farmers produce.  Get out there, talk to them, find out where your food comes from, and eat some real food for a change without additives, colorings, flavorings, etc. ad nauseum.  How about just 1 day of food that only comes from local sources?  Your body could use a break from high fructose corn syrup (HFC on labels now) and hydrogenated oils.  You won't find these at the farmer's markets!  Another thing for which to be thankful.
